Microsoft Visual Studio 2022: Register

NOTE: You need your Product Key to register your copy of Visual Studio 2022.

If you didn't copy your Product Key at purchase time, log onto the Azure Dev Tools for Teaching page. Find and choose Visual Studio 2022 Enterprise, then hit the View Key button in the panel that appears to the right.

  1. With Visual Studio 2022 open and your Product Key handy, do Help menu > Register Product

  2. Visual Studio reminds you that you have a 30-day trial, and that it will end on a certain date.

    1. Hit Unlock with a Product Key

    2. Enter your 25-character product key in the text box provided, then hit Apply:

  3. If you entered your valid product key correctly, Visual Studio applies it and registers your copy of the program.

NOTE: The registration is permanent. Should you ever re-install Visual Studio on the same machine, Windows will automatically re-apply your product key.
